Muistoja lapsuudesta / Memories from my childhood

Vietin lapsuuteni 70-luvulla maalla.

I spent my childhood in the countryside during 70's. There are lots of dear memories associated with the countryside. Our neighbour had a cow-shed and we used to name newborn calfs. Sometimes our neighbour gave us a ride with a two wheel carriage. My childhood summers were long, sunny and easygoing.
I wanted to make a creeting card related to these lovely memories. So I made a two wheel carriage with a milk churn. I felt really nostalgic when making this papercraft <3

Vanha ompelukone paperista / Antique sewing machine

Tein hänelle pienen, paperisen Singerin, jonka alaosassa on laatikko. Laatikkoon piilotin tekemäni pienen valokuva-albumin, jossa on lastenlasten kuvia vuosien varrelta.

My mother had never liked modern sewing machines. For some reason, she feels they are too complicated to use. My mother had a birthday party last summer and she definitely disallowed us to purchase any present. But on the other hand, I know how much she loves all hand-made products. So I decided to give her a small antique sewing machine which was made of paper.  There is a small box under the sewing machine and I hide there a little scrapping album.
My mother has a good sense of humour and she really loved this :)
